Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Today I am typing out the lyrics to our Listen to the Heartbeat album which we released in 2015. There are 8 songs on the album. We recorded the album in our home studio in Chatham, Ontario and had it mixed and mastered in Vancouver, BC after we moved to Burnaby.

 We are in the holy season of Lent. It is a great time to go to the Sacrament of Confession, to fast, to pray, to help the poor. 

New Mobile-Friendly Website for Tempus Fugit Coming!

We will have a new mobile-friendly website of our album Tempus Fugit created. There are four songs on the album: Death, Judgement, Hell and Heaven. Each song is 15 minutes long. It is based on the near-death experience that Cyndie had when she was 13. Hell is based on the near-hell experience I had one month prior to my ordination as a Catholic priest. I went through three days of intense sorrow, despair and the temptation to commit suicide.

Rob Queen has finished one song for our upcoming album. We have decided to reduce the number of songs on the album from 17 to 10. Instead of releasing a double album, we will have a single vinyl album made by DMA Discs, based in BC and Ontario. I have recorded electric rhythm guitar for a couple of songs and our lead guitarist, Chris Rupert, has completed one song. Miles Hill, our bass player, has completed one song.

Myztery TikTok Live for 30 Minutes

Hello! Happy Ash Wednesday! Last night I did a 30 minute TikTok Live, playing three songs on the mandolin and acoustic guitar. I played Touch the Sky, Open Your Heart and Who Do You Say I Am?  

Cyndie operated our camera. I will do a TikTok Live once a week for 30 minutes. I will also do a 10 minute TikTok video that I will upload as well, once a week.

We received another request for a Myztery concert in Asia! So far, Asia is leading in the polls for Myztery concert requests! We need to get our passports :) Today I plan to record electric rhythm guitar and lead vocals for a couple of our songs for our upcoming album. 

There is a new bookstore in New Westminster, Collected Treasures, that will be selling our Myztery CDs as well as our books! Here is their website: https://collectedtreasures.ca  Mystical Rose Productions, which is our record label and production company, is being registered as a partner with Apple. We plan to get a MacBook Pro for our recording studio.

Recording Guitar and Lead Vocals

Hello! Today I will be recording rhythm electric guitar and lead vocals for a couple of Myztery songs. Miles Hill, our bass player, will also mix and master our upcoming album. We will spend 15 months recording this album. We started in March, so the finish date will be around May of 2026. We will release it as vinyl album, probably a double disc album, through DMA Discs, a totally Canadian company based both in BC and Toronto, Ontario. 

The photo today was taken by Tom Hawkins for our 2010 Cyber Superstar photoshoot. Tom will be doing the photoshoot for our upcoming album as well. Our drummer, Rob Queen, did a great job recording on the opening track of our album. One of the songs on the album is a song I wrote back around 1983! For some reason, I never got around to recording it, even though I released a number of solo albums as well as five Myztery albums.
